We're a reasonable distance away from Kansas City's airport, and not too far away from the KC metro area if there's something you can't find locally.

Very similar to an alternative weekly, with an extensive web presence. The site and forums dedicated to the local scene, with an emphasis on the band/music opportunities. The forums are a source of unfiltered information. Obviously we've got a collection of 'colorful' forum dwellers.
